Robin Good: If you are looking for a digital video post-production filter set that will give your footage the look and texture of 35mm film grain, look no further than the 35mm Filmpak by Indiescans.

In the past couple of weeks both Nikon and Canon have released two new HDSLR's that many are considering upgrading to. While the cameras are very different in specifications, it seems that the one area that everyone is hoping will improve even further over current models is in the high-ISO / low-noise area.

Robin Good: Vibop is a new YouTube app that allows you to create personalized video clips that can be "embellished" with preset themes, decorative graphics, introductory captions and visual effects.
You can also add your own photos, use existing clips or record a live video in front of your webcam. Video features include the ability to add many different filters, to auto-adjust bad quality-video, brighten dark images and fix shaky camera footage.
At the end of the process your video is automatically uploaded to your own video channel.

I tested vibop and it's a useful tool to make quick enrichments to your videos: It's a pity that the themes are only available for the iphone app and not for the web app integrated in youtube (as expected) .
Regarding intro, editing & effects functionalities, they're both in the iphone and web app.
Robin Good: There’s a new camera in development called the Digital Bolex. It is a high-quality digital camcorder capable of 2K resolution, but made so that independent videomakers and amateurs as well culd soon afford to buy one.

Robin Good: Videolicious is an app for iOs devices that has the ability to take your raw video footage shot with your iPhone and to automagically convert it into a tightly edited video clip with music.
Videolicious works by letting you choose the video clips and photo shots you want to use in your final clip as well as the music you want to have with it by leeting you tap into the stuff you already have inside your iPhone.
The final edited clip can be easily uploaded to facebook or YouTube.
Corel makes one of the more appealing video editors around, VideoStudio Pro, and today the company announced the availability of the latest version of this enthusiast video-editing software, VideoStudio Pro X5.
The big news is the program's ability to generate HTML5 video content. Included authoring capabilites let users add clickable points on the Web video, such as cue points or video chapters. The software outputs to either H.264 or WebM formats. This means the video will display correctly in any browser that supports HTML, including the Apple iPad and iPhone's version of the Safari Web browser.

Following this procedure will save you lots of time and prevent video quality degradation if you need video in mp4 format for playback through iTunes, the Apple TV, or your iOS device.

The app is rather simple and straightforward to active on any one of your Facebook Fan Pages and in a matter of seconds you can be live streaming.
To live stream in good quality you need at least 350Kbps of upload bandwidth. You can test you upload bandwidth with http://speedtest.net.
You must have a Facebook account to use vBroadcast.
Robin Good: Hadza is a new web service which leverages the power of video clips shot by smartphones at public events to recreate, after-the-fact, a multiple point of view video recording of those moments.
You can either shoot your clips with Hazda, or upload to Hazda any clip that is already on YouTube.
Hazda's algorithm automatically groups videos together into "events" based on the GPS and time stamps they receive (videos are grouped together within 1000 meters and 20 seconds of each other.)
Robin Good: This free service kindly provided by the Australian centre for the Moving Image, allows film and video students as well as buddying film freaks to easily create a reference storyboard without knowing how to draw a line.
The tool is completely web-based, and it provides a choice of three possible types of scripts to work on:
a) Romance
b) Comedy
c) Horror
Once you have chosen a script, the online scripting editor makes it easy for you to work on your script as you would expect.
Then, using a library of camera shots and moves that can be easily dragged and dropped on your empty storyboard canvas, you can give visual life to your script. You can add your own pictures and illustrations to the library as to customize the storyboard in any way you want.
