Social video marketers, we have a news update! We recently discovered a feature that Facebook was testing and it appears that they have just made public as of today.
Now, when you include a link in a comment on anyone’s Facebook post or status update, you’ll get an “expanded view” which contains a thumbnail preview and blurb associated with the website or a video that can be “previewed” (actually the whole video can be played) directly within the comment itself.
This first came to my attention from Facebook Guru Mari Smith (I recommend you check out Mari Smith’s Facebook page and give it a “like,” because it’s a great resource of tips and she’s one of the most friendly social media experts you’ll find anywhere).
