une encyclopédie reste un généraliste.... qui doit permettre de développer son esprit critique, un point de départ mais certainement pas à comprendre la complexité d'une réponse et d'une question... Alors la verité

C'est une vision. D'autant que c'est exactement ce que Wikipedia ne fait pas. Elle édicte, c'est tout.

This is what I teach my students-- get ideas from Wikipedia, use it as a jumping point. Make sure all info is backed up by primary & secondary sources.

Using Wikipedia as a starting point can assist in narrowing a search that will lead into vetted databases research.

I like this proposal of how to integrate Wikipedia into the classroom. I learned about 'stubs' which are partial articles that need more info before they become full pages. |
