Convert Any Presentation Into a Talking Video in Your Preferred Language: SlideTalk.net

From www.youtube.com - February 10, 2013 6:32 AM

Robin Good's insight:

SlideTalk.net is a new web service which can easily transform a static slide-based set of slides into a video presentation with a voice-over track, without you needing to do much beyond writing what you need to be said. For free.

SlideTalk.net, is a Swedish startup that has created a web-based app that allows you to upload a presentation and to add a professional voice track to it, by simply writing the text that you want to be spoken on each slide. That text will be then converted by the Acapela powerful text-to-speech engine before your slides and the accompanying voice track will be encoded into a new video that can be easily uploaded to YouTube.

I have been really impressed by the range of voices available (70) and the international languages supported by this system (30) powered by the Acapela TTS engine.

The artificial voices sound reasonably realistic and human to my ear.

Not only. It is also quite easy to "personalize" the TTS (text-to-speech) results, by having the option to switch voices at any time, to control reading speed, and other factors by just using specific commands within the text accompanying each slide. (Read more about this here: http://slidetalk.net/Home/EditTips)

Free to use while in Beta. Free and paid versions after launch.

Un manera de subir presentaciones, escribir texto y que una voz profesional de voz a texto grabe la presentación. La cuenta libre permite hasta 15 slides por presentación. Me parece, interesante. Lo comparto.
